Cody K. Allen Clark

Cody K. Allen Clark, 22, of Card­ing­ton passed away on Fri­day (Aug. 10, 2012) at Nation­wide Children’s Hospital.

He was born on Jan. 6, 1990, in Mar­ion to Jack Allen Clark of Card­ing­ton and Jeanette Elaine (Hat­ten) Clark of Card­ing­ton. Cody attended Schultz in Delaware. He loved watch­ing his sis­ter Paige play soft­ball and she will miss her biggest cheer­leader in the stands. Cody could always be spot­ted eat­ing his favorite snack, pud­ding. He will be dearly missed by his fam­ily and loved ones includ­ing his long­time care providers, Deonna Vaughn and Lisa Vaughn-Hess.

In addi­tion to his par­ents, Cody is sur­vived by a sis­ter, Paige Mae Elaine Clark of Card­ing­ton; pater­nal grand­moth­ers, Betty Lou Crist-Clark of Marengo and Cyndi Clark of Delaware; and his mater­nal grand­par­ents, Jim and Bunny Hat­ten of Ashley.

Cody was pre­ceded in death by his grand­fa­ther, Jack Kay Clark.

Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Tues­day, Aug. 14, at Gompf Funeral Ser­vice in Card­ing­ton. Funeral Ser­vices will begin promptly at 2 p.m. Bur­ial will fol­low in Green­mound Ceme­tery in Kilbourne.

Memo­r­ial con­tri­bu­tions can be made to help assist the fam­ily with Cody’s funeral expenses, care of Gompf Funeral Ser­vice, 440 S. Cen­ter St., Card­ing­ton, OH 43315.
