Distortions and lies are mostly what everyone hears endlessly. Opinions get formed by listening to the pundits, and reading blogs on whichever side the reader is already bent towards. Since we have a public oriented to being steered around like in a feedlot, how can we expect more. The big money is against all of us regular people in the electorate. And the elected need the big money from day 1 when elected. Thomas Jefferson, I’m sorry, but glad you do not have to see this. When Reagan and then Clinton took away the requirements for news reporting, we lost a lot. And when we lost civics classes in our public education, we lost a lot.
Paul Ryan? What did he do for work? What does his voting record say? These are the questions, this is what we the voters need to learn about. But when the debates take place, when the ads smear our airwaves, how much truth will we really find from either side. We are SCREWED!
My vote goes to whoever at least treats us like people. That would be Obama and Biden. But truthfully, they can do nothing if the Congress has its current majority and leadership. And further, as long as the Senate keeps its rules the minority can still obstruct any good legislation.
There was a secret meeting on Inauguration Day among the opposition party and its deviously power thirsty elite. The multiple-pronged plan was hatched and strategized to defeat Obama. It has been set out to obstruct progress for economic and jobs recovery of any kind, to disavow any accomplishments, to raise enough money from the very wealthy to run campaign distortions, and to suppress the vote from the minorities and the poor.
Lies?
Sure, there are those who will call truth a lie.
And there are few in our media, who benefit from a constant dog fight on the airwaves who demand truth at all.
And that is all that has to happen. Bullies and liars, and a lazy and uninformed electorate, that is all it takes.
Let the wheels turn, and the planet boil. Soon we’ll start all over again anyway.

Non-partisan research groups would say it in a less inflammatory way, but they find the lies about the health care act to lie on the other side.
Ryan’s budget cuts just as much from Medicare as Obama does. The difference is that Ryan wants to use the savings for deficit reduction, while “ObamaCare” puts the money back into the pockets of people who need help with their medical bills,” helping seniors pay for prescription drugs, for example.
What Joe says about the Ryan plan is years outdated and is not how his most recent plan will work. No one now on medicare will experience any cuts and, in fact, all over age 55 will continue as before. Obamacare will destroy medicare and will severely reduce coverage for the elderly, “who will just die anyway”! BTW the way, I am on medicare.
Actually, it is Obama who will gut Medicare by at least $716 billion dollars, whereas Ryan’s plan retains medicare as it is for all currently on the plan, which BTW includes his Mother, and gives viable options for future retirees. Try to get your facts correct before posting LIES.
When voters discover what Ryan really believes they will be horrified.
