Festival ahead
Adam’s Tree Care sent a crew to Galena Wednesday afternoon, but they weren’t there trimming trees. Adam donated time and a boom-truck to raise the Galena Summerfest banner over the road to advertise that the annual festival will be held on Aug. 25. Galena Summerfest and Sunbury Sizzle & Sounds will both be held on the same day from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. The festivals will be connected by a free shuttle service, allowing patrons to park once and attend both festivals. Each festival will have outdoor beer gardens — Galena all day and into the evening, Sunbury Sizzle & Sounds from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. (For the Gazette | Lenny C. Lepola)
