Janice Kay Scott

Jan­ice Kay Scott, 58, of Delaware passed away Mon­day after­noon (July 30, 2012) at her residence.

She was born Jan. 24, 1954, in Toledo to Del­bert Ernest and Dolores Marie (Dean) Scott. She was a mem­ber of the Church of Christ, Delaware, who enjoyed gar­den­ing, com­puter games and play­ing with her dachschund, “Buddy.”

She is sur­vived by a daugh­ter, Janet Lynn John­son of Lake­land, Fla.; two grand­chil­dren and five great-grandchildren; two sis­ters, Chris­tine (Robert) Resh of Delaware and Paula (Elvis) John­son of Allen, Okla.; aunt, Shirley Brad­burn of Toledo; and sev­eral nieces and nephews.

She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; hus­band, Robert Parra; and brother, John Scott. Cel­e­bra­tion of Life ser­vices will be held at 10:30 a.m. Fri­day, Aug. 3, at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Cen­ter, 1510 W. William Street at Val­ley­side Drive, Delaware, with the Rev. Keith Ball offi­ci­at­ing. The fam­ily will receive friends one hour prior to the services.

In lieu of flow­ers, con­tri­bu­tions may be made to the Mul­ti­ple Scle­ro­sis Asso­ci­a­tion of America.
