Cynthia A. Hatch

Cyn­thia A. Hatch, 60, died Tues­day (Sept. 25, 2012) at St. Ann’s Hospital.

She had a 35-year career as a ded­i­cated 1st grade teacher with Delaware City Schools, retir­ing in 2008, and was a mem­ber and trea­surer of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band, Christo­pher; mother, Norma Brack­ett; sis­ter, Patri­cia (Doug) Her­ron; brother, Dou­glas (Eva) Brack­ett; nieces, Amber and Amy Her­ron and Ash­ley Roth and Rachel Hatch; nephews Charles Brack­ett, Andrew and Daniel Roth and Ben­jamin and Thomas Hatch; father-in-law, Edward (Cyn­thia) Hatch; sister-in-law, Julie (Alan) Roth; and brother-in-law, Jon (Pam) Hatch.

A cel­e­bra­tion of life will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednes­day, Oct. 3, at All Occasion’s Ban­quet Facil­ity, 6989 Waldo-Delaware Road, Waldo.

In lieu of flow­ers dona­tions in her name can be made to the Colum­bus Zoo and Aquar­ium, 4850 W. Pow­ell Road, Pow­ell, OH 43065.
