Mark Joseph Gillis

Mark Joseph Gillis, 26, passed away unex­pect­edly Sun­day (July 1, 2012).

Mark was born on Nov. 3, 1985. Mark was a grad­u­ate of Pine Plains High School class of 2004 and attended The Ohio State Uni­ver­sity from 2004–2006. He was loved immensely and will be greatly missed by his fam­ily and friends.

He is sur­vived by his father and step­mother, Mark H. and Dara A. Gillis of Pow­ell; mother, Lor­raine Williamson of Stan­fordville, N.Y.; sis­ter, Jes­sica Gillis of Scotts­dale, Ariz.; brother, Bruce Williamson of Stan­fordville, N.Y.; and grand­par­ents, Robert and Liana Clark, Kent and Joy Gillis, Joe and Rose­mary Valdez and Dr. Richard D. Wet­zel along with numer­ous aunts uncles and cousins.

A memo­r­ial ser­vice will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 22 at Bethel Inter­na­tional United Methodist Church, 1220 Bethel Road, Columbus.
