Charles 'Chuck' Edward Hughes
Charles “Chuck” Edward Hughes, 52, a resident of Delaware passed away early Monday (Oct. 8, 2012) at his residence.
He was born on Dec. 17, 1959, in Columbus to Lawrence and Marilyn (Clark) Hughes. Chuck was a member of the West Berlin Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and cooking.
He is survived by his wife, Leora (Walker) Hughes; two sons, Joshua Alan and Jeremiah Michael Hughes; his father, Lawrence Hughes Sr.; five brothers, Gene, Larry Jr., David, Ron and Marshall Hughes; two sisters, Patty Marker and Debbie Morris; father-in-law, Bob Walker; mother-in-law, Liz Walker; two brothers-in-law, Joe and Jim Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn (Clark) Wears; maternal grandparents, Luther and Lucille Clark; and paternal grandparents, Hugh and Effie Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorial contributions be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Assoc. (PO Box 81, Delaware, OH 43015) or to the West Berlin Presbyterian Church (2911 Berlin Station Road, Delaware, OH 43015).
