Daniel Patrick Doran Sr.
Daniel Patrick Doran Sr., 56, of Delaware, passed away unexpectedly at his home Monday (Oct. 1, 2012).
He was born March 2, 1956, in Columbus. He was a member of the Santoy Conservation Club and worked most of his life as a painter. Dan was known as a “Jack of all Trades” due to his knowledge and handyman capabilities.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Georgann (Burton); children, Daniel (Rachel) Jr.; Mary (fiancé Aaron); Tracy (Seann) McWilliams; mother, Mary Grace; sister, Pamela De Baun; grandchildren, Austin, Isabelle, Mackenzie, Vincent, Elijah; Aunt Marge; Uncle Mac; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lee.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday.
