Kya Jane McCann-Ministeri

Kya Jane McCann-Ministeri, infant daugh­ter of Vin­cent James and Kim­berly Jane (Meenach) Min­is­teri, passed peace­fully in the arms of her fam­ily on Mon­day after­noon (Oct. 29, 2012) at the Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hos­pi­tal, Westerville.

She was born at 12:03 p.m. weigh­ing 11.4 ounces and 9.5 inches and met the eyes of Jesus and joined the other Lit­tle Angels in God’s King­dom the same day. Beau­ti­ful Kya gave us a life­time of love dur­ing her short time on earth. A beau­ti­ful baby girl who touched so many lives in such a brief time and was loved deeply by fam­ily and friends. We will always miss and love you.

Left to cher­ish the beau­ti­ful mem­ory of her short time here on Earth are her par­ents of Colum­bus; sur­ro­gate par­ents, Billy and Debra McCann of Ash­ley; grand­par­ents, Vin and Fran Min­is­teri of Ash­ley, Dianne Kael­ber of Rad­nor, Don and Robin Meenach of Delaware, Bill and Deb McCann of Card­ing­ton and Diane and Wayne Haw­ley of Rad­nor; great-grandparents, Ted and Barb Luke of Marysville, Mona Wooten of Delaware, Don­ald Meenach of Cir­cleville and Don and Dorothy Kael­ber of Rad­nor; nephews, Cody, Clay­ton and Colton McCann; nieces, Cecelia and Marsella Smith; and aunts and uncles, Dana Jag­ger of Rad­nor, Aimee and Mike Smith of Delaware, Luke Meenach of Delaware, Leslie Buechel of Colum­bus, Amanda Fet­ter of Delaware and Matt and Amy Haw­ley of Galena.

She was pre­ceded in death by a great-grandfather, Tom Wooten; great-grandmother, Mar­i­lyn Meenach; and three great-grandparents, Gae­tano and Josephine Min­is­teri, James and Jean Hick­man and William and Phyl­lis McCann.

Cel­e­bra­tion of Life Ser­vices will be held at noon Fri­day, Nov. 2, at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Cen­ter, 1510 W. William St., Delaware, with the Rev. Gary Under­wood offi­ci­at­ing. The fam­ily will receive friends one hour prior to the ser­vices. Bur­ial will fol­low in Peak Cemetery.

The Snyder-Rodman Funeral Cen­ter is hon­ored to serve Kya’s fam­ily and con­do­lences may be expressed and mem­o­ries may be shared by vis­it­ing snyderfuneralhomes.com.
