Norma June Miller

Norma June Miller, 86, of 100 Delaware Cross­ing West, Delaware, and for­merly of New­com­er­stown, died Mon­day (Oct. 8, 2012) at Wil­low Brook Delaware Run.

She was born May 31, 1926, in New­com­er­stown to the late Daniel Pat­ter­son and Beu­lah (Pierce) Pat­ter­son. She was an LPN at West­ing­house Hamil­ton Beach as an Indus­trial Nurse in Byesville; and later at Coshoc­ton Co. Home, Autumn Health Care. She was a proud prac­tic­ing nurse. She was a mem­ber of First Bap­tist Church of New­com­er­stown. On May 29, 1948, she mar­ried Clarence S. Miller who died Aug. 23, 2005.

She is sur­vived by one son, Jeff Miller and wife Karen of Lewis Cen­ter; two grand­sons, Nathanael and Nicholas Miller; one sis­ter, Martha Tilton of New­com­er­stown; and one brother, David Pat­ter­son and wife Edna of Isleta.

She was pre­ceded in death by three broth­ers, Ray­mond “Gigs” Pat­ter­son, Robert “Bob” Pat­ter­son and Jim Pat­ter­son; four sis­ters, Karen Pat­ter­son, Ruth Pat Med­ley, Bar­bara Bricker and Carol Silverthorne.

Memo­r­ial ser­vices will be at noon Sat­ur­day, Oct. 20, at First Bap­tist Church of New­com­er­stown with the Rev. Tom Bar­ber and the Rev. Don­ald Sil­ver­thorne officiating.
