Pumpkin project

A pumpkin-decorating contest staged for Conger Elementary School students by the Howard Hanna Real Estate Services staff culminated on Friday with the pumpkins’ delivery as holiday decorations at the Sarah Moore Home, 26 N. Union St. Fourth-graders delivering the pumpkins included (from left) Mackenzie Collett, Ally Gray and Keylee White. Each classroom worked on a pumpkin, using only paint and exterior decorations. Howard Hanna staffers judged the results and picked two first-place winners, those decorated by the second-grade class of Kelli Dowell and the third-grade class of Jackie Washington. Those classes received pizza parties and the winning pumpkins are on display in the window of the Howard Hanna office at 52 N. Sandusky St. (GAZETTE | Paul Comstock)
