Paul A. Raimonde, 55, of Centerburg was taken tragically Wednesday morning (Aug. 10, 2011) following an automobile accident on Ohio 42 in Delaware.
For 20 years he owned and operated Raimonde Trucking and currently worked as an equipment dispatcher for Trucco Construction in Delaware. A thoroughbred horse enthusiast, he was not only a fan, but also an owner and breeder. Always hardworking, he was a family man of few words. He treasured time spent at the track with family, friends and dog Boomer.
He is survived by beloved wife of 31 years, Charity (Ulrey); precious daughter, Tiffany; parents, Albert and Barbara (Alt) Raimonde; sisters, Christine (Bob) Evenson, Lynn (Jim) Nowjack, Mary Ellen (Matt) Wickham and Jackie Raimonde; extended family; and a host of friends and horsemen.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Church in Westerville.
