John A. Kramer
John A. Kramer, 81, born Aug. 2, 1931, in Columbus, passed away Oct. 29, 2012 in Green Valley, Ariz.
John owned Remark Sheet Metal, Columbus, and Granville Heating and Cooling. He also raised lambs at his Black Eyed Susan Farm in Alexandria. He volunteered at Mad River Mountain as a member of the National Ski Patrol from 1964 for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lois Humes; daughters, Lesley of New Albany, Lynn of Lancaster, Kathy of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Kris (Paul) of Powell; grandchildren, John David (Allyson) of Philadelphia and Lauren (Jon) Riethmiller of Columbus; and great-grandchildren, Olive and Landon of Philadelphia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Kramer, and special dog, Barney.
The family will receive friends during a Celebration of Life from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Kilbourne United Methodist Church located at 5591 Ohio 521, Kilbourne.
