John A. Kramer

John A. Kramer, 81, born Aug. 2, 1931, in Colum­bus, passed away Oct. 29, 2012 in Green Val­ley, Ariz.

John owned Remark Sheet Metal, Colum­bus, and Granville Heat­ing and Cool­ing. He also raised lambs at his Black Eyed Susan Farm in Alexan­dria. He vol­un­teered at Mad River Moun­tain as a mem­ber of the National Ski Patrol from 1964 for 20 years.

He is sur­vived by his wife of 39 years, Lois Humes; daugh­ters, Les­ley of New Albany, Lynn of Lan­caster, Kathy of Mt. Pleas­ant, S.C., and Kris (Paul) of Pow­ell; grand­chil­dren, John David (Allyson) of Philadel­phia and Lau­ren (Jon) Rieth­miller of Colum­bus; and great-grandchildren, Olive and Lan­don of Philadelphia.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents, John and Mar­garet Kramer, and spe­cial dog, Barney.

The fam­ily will receive friends dur­ing a Cel­e­bra­tion of Life from 3 to 4 p.m. Sun­day, Nov. 11, at the Kil­bourne United Methodist Church located at 5591 Ohio 521, Kilbourne.
