William F. Cunningham
William F. Cunningham, 74, of Tallassee, Tenn., passed away with his family by his side Wednesday (Oct. 31, 2012) in Maryville, Tenn.
He was born May 7, 1938, in Delaware to parents Ernest and Dorothea Cunningham. He graduated from Willis High School Class of “57” and retired from General Electric after 35 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara L. Gale Cunningham; he was a devoted father to, Deborah Burch, Michael Cunningham, Julie Page, Jodie Giles, Heidi Patti, Matthew Cunningham and Susan Cunningham; a wonderful grandfather to 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and sister, Janet Dewey. ( What’s another name for a sly pig?….a Cunningham. Go Bucks! ).
He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Cunningham.
Private services are being held by the family. Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville is in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be expressed at memorialfuneralhomemaryville.com.
