M. Lou Barker, 82, of Lewis Center passed away Friday evening (Sept. 16, 2011) at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
She was born Feb. 24, 1929 in Geneva, Iowa to Merle and Neda (Woodley) Clock. She was a homemaker, 35 year resident of Lewis Center, and a member of the Liberty Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and raising schnauzers. She also had a true love for all animals.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Milton; two daughters, Becky (Kevin) Fix and Terri (Michael) Bruce, all of Wadsworth; son, Brad (Amy) of Muncie, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Kristen Nardo, Natalie Arnold, Jason and Annie Bruce, Hayley and Elliot Fix and Bailey and Kelsey Barker; three great-grandchildren, Andrew and Sydney Nardo and Chloe Arnold, and one great-grandson on the way; three brothers, Merlin, Dennis and Richard Clock; sister, Patricia Verink; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jim and Jerry Clock.
Private Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date at the Liberty Presbyterian Church.
