Palestinians to seek UN membership

Rosella Williams, 93, of Delaware and formerly Marion died Monday (July 16, 2012) at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.

She was born on Feb. 6, 1919, in Ensley, Ala., to the late Matthew and Charity Starks. She had worked as a housekeeper for various families and was a member of the Morning Star Tabernacle. Rosella loved her family, especially her grandbabies and loved to cook and bake for them. Her specialties were fried chicken and peach cobbler, but enjoyed cooking and baking anything. Rosella was a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds Ball Team and the Kennedy Family. She also loved to worship and sing to the Lord.

She is survived by daughters, Beverly (Terry) Rose of Delaware and Donna (Martie) Deel of Sunbury; 13 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Rosemary Porter in 2003; husband, Lynn Williams; brothers, Nathanial, Huey, Buddy and James Starks; and sisters, Evelyn Johnson and Daisy Stark.

Friends may call one hour prior to the noon service Thursday at the Outreach Christian Center, 77B London Road, Delaware. Interment will follow in the Marion Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center.
