Hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel spilled

Charles (Chuck) A. Moodespaugh 74, passed away suddenly in Port Charlotte, Fla., on Sept 7, 2011.

Chuck was born in Delaware to the late C Ray Moodespaugh and Mary Ann (Harter) Moodespaugh. He was in the graduating class of 1954 of Willis High School. He married Karen Kerns Moodespaugh and had 51 wonderful years together. A funeral was held in North Port, Fla., with his immediate family attending wife, Karen; daughter, Sue Ann (Doug) Storey of Milford; grandchildren, Jessica and Dan Storey; daughter, Sheryl Ann (Craig) North of Little Rock Ark.; and grandchildren, Caylee, Anna and Alex North of Arkansas.

He is also survived by brother-in-law, Don (Sharon) Kerns of West Mansfield; his late sister, Phyllis J Compton of Delaware; late brother-in-law, Ellis “Jr” and ( Peg) Compton of Ostrander; nieces, Lorri (Les) Anthony of Galion, Lisa (Bryan) Hall of Delaware and Rosemary Compton; nephews, Zach (Erin) Hall of Washington, Scott (Nancy) Compton Hyde Park, N.Y., and Christian Compton; stepmother, Louise Moodespaugh of Delaware; stepsisters, Debbie (John) Grubb of Pelham, Ala., and Diane Pollock of Lewis Center; and nephew, Matt Pollock of Dayton.
