Federal mandates cost Delaware Schools’ food service

Glenville C. “Marc” Marcum Jr., 49, of Ostrander passed away Tuesday morning (Dec. 6, 2011) at his residence.

He was born Dec. 2, 1962 in Mount Vernon to Glenville Sr. and Loretta Taylor Marcum. A lifelong Ostrander area resident, he had been employed as a data processor with Bridges to Independence. He loved watching sports and was a real Buckeye supporter. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Loretta Marcum of Ostrander; a son, Alex of Granville; brothers, Paul of Ostrander, John (Kay) of Marengo, Kenneth (Debbie) of Jack’s Creek, Tenn., and David (Linda) of Delaware; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenville, in 2009.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Newhouse Cemetery.
