Delaware Hayes swept its way to an impressive season-opening win Monday in Marysville, dropping the Monarchs on all five courts.

The Pacers’ singles winners included Nick Tanuredjo, who knocked off Marysville’s Jacob Basil 6-0, 6-2 at first singles; John Homan, who took care of James Johnstone 6-1, 6-2 at second singles; and Spencer Deighton, who defeated Wiktor Rundquist 6-2, 6-0 at third singles.

Hayes got doubles wins from Josh Byerly and Colton Richard, who teamed up to knock off Mitch Woodruff and Connor Devine 6-1, 6-2; and the duo of Stephen Tackett and Hyeon Woo Bae, who dropped Hunter Cox and Kyle Pratt 6-4, 6-4.
