Obama pressures Romney to break his Mourdock ties

Jessie J. McIntire, 68, a 30-year resident of Ashley, passed away on Tuesday (May 8, 2012) at Grady Memorial Hospital.

She was born on July 7, 1943 in Columbus. Jessie retired from Sarah Moore Nursing Home where she worked as cook for many years. She enjoyed road trips, gambling, bingo, her scratch off tickets and fishing. Jessie was fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and NASCAR. She enjoyed spending time with her family, great-grandchildren and her dog Missy.

Jessie is survived by her significant other and partner in life of 26 years, Clyde Lowther; two sons, Wayne (Sandy) Emmons Jr. of Ashley and Jerry (Melody) Emmons of Delaware; two daughters, Betty (Tim) Lowther of Ashley and Tammy Sech of Ashley; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Quick Jr. of Baltimore, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Emmons Sr.; parents, Robert and Cora Quick; and two brothers.

The family will hold a celebration of Jessie’s life at a later date. All memorial contributions may be made to the family (Betty Emmons and Clyde Lowther) through the Delaware County Bank).
