Thomas Ray Waddell II, 36, of Delaware died unexpectedly Sunday (June 19, 2011) at home.
He was born Nov. 30, 1974 in Delaware to Thomas R. Waddell I and Ruth (Wycoff) Waddell of Richwood. Tom attended Delaware Hayes High School and worked in the construction trade with Triangle Properties and Wallick Properties. An avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Always cheerful, kind, and supportive, he was a true friend. He attended the Berachah Church in Delaware. A jokester at heart, he was a good man. A treasured husband, father, son, brother and uncle, he was most proud of his daughter.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his beloved wife, Chrissy (Fitch); daughter, Victoria Lynn; brother, James Waddell of Richwood; grandmother, Geraldine Davis of Marion; parents-in-law, Cynthia Fitch and George Thompson; nephews, James, Dustin and Chris; nieces, Katelyn, Haylee and Carah; cousins; best friend, Jason Lowrie; and numerous extended family and friends, especially Robert Mattix, Scott and Terry Anstaett.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware, where services will follow at 7 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
