Hayes marching band seeks donations to replace 13-year-old uniforms

Dee Foster, born Oct. 20, 1953, passed away Sunday (June 5, 2011).

She was a graduate of Westerville South High School and Otterbein School of Nursing and employed at Mount Carmel West Hospital. She was an active member of the Columbus Blues Alliance, a huge OSU Buckeye fan and a racing enthusiast (go #24). She found relaxation through reading, gardening and boating. Dee was a caretaker at heart; a giving person who touched many lives. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her beloved life partner, Jim Gelder; two brothers, Steve (Bev) of Westerville and Brent of Grove City; nieces, Casey Foster and Wendy Kellett (Dan); and nephew, Chad Foster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Kay Foster.

Callers may visit from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville.
