American economy expands at modest 2 percent pace

James C Harmony, 80, of Columbus died Monday (May 2, 2011). He was the son of Loren L. Harmony and Mary Chote Harmony and was married to Betty (Cains) Harmony for 57 years. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces and was retired from Columbus Coated Fabrics.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Harmony; sons, James D. and Jackie Harmony of Kilbourne and John L. Harmony of Marengo; daughters, Mary E. Hendrickson of Hitchins, Ky., Kay and Alva Roar of Lewis Center, Dianne and Dave Bryant of Kilbourne, Lynn Harmony of Mount Vernon and Sherry and Gerard Johanning of Mount Vernon; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Loren Harmony; sister, Harriet Carey; and granddaughter, Tanya M. Bryant.

He touched the hearts of all his family members and friends. He will be cherished in our memories forever and continue to live through us all. A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
