Council debates merits of administrative plan

The Delaware Police Department identified Leslie Williams as the suspect in a bank robbery that took place Wednesday afternoon in Delaware City.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., a white male entered the CES Credit Union, 33 London Road, and passed the teller a threatening note, demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect is believed to have fled on foot.

No weapon was observed and no injuries were reported. Police are searching the area for Williams and continue to process the crime scene.

Williams was described as 49 years old, 5’9” tall, and 140 pounds.

This was the 36th bank robbery of the year in central Ohio, according to FBI reports.
