We are a rock, we are an island … NOT!

[caption id="attachment_18207" align="alignnone" width="495"] Marion Stephen (from left) and Matt Weber from the Delaware city engineering department help David McCoy from Pomeroy and Associates mark water depths from the 1913 flood on the flag pole in front of City Hall. Using a GPS measuring device and historical data, the team marked locations in the downtown and on the east side and will later place small, temporary plaques at each location to mark the water depth 100 years ago. Pomeroy and Associates donated the personnel and equipment for the project. The Delaware County Historical Society is purchasing the plaques. (Submitted)[/caption]
