A two-vehicle crash in southern Delaware County Tuesday morning left one motorist dead and another in critical condition.

The Columbus Division of Police responded to the accident in the 1500 block of Gemini Place at about 10 a.m.

Two people were transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital, where one was pronounced dead, according to the Columbus Division of Police. The other was in critical condition.

A third person was taken to Riverside in stable condition. Police did not identify the dead and injured.

The crash closed Gemini Place between Lyra Drive and Polaris Parkway for several hours.

Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
