Reds can't stop Alvarez, lose to Pirates 5-3

Jeremy A. Campbell, 33, of Prospect and formerly of Delaware, passed away unexpectedly in Lexington, Ky., Monday morning (July 25, 2011).

He was born Feb. 27, 1978 in Columbus to Bradley and Joanne Miller Campbell. Jeremy was assistant manager for Valvoline Service Center in Delaware and was affiliated with the Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church. He was active with his children’s 4-H projects. He enjoyed a wide range of music, movies, fishing, was a die-hard Bengals fan and an automobile enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Kristin (Kniola); sons, River and Damien; a daughter, Bailee; a sister, Heather Campbell; half brother, Jacob Bierce; stepbrother Shawn Bierce, all of Delaware; a stepsister Brandy Sandoval of Columbus; several nieces and nephews; mother, Joanne (Frank) Bierce of Delaware; and father Bradley (Liz) Campbell of Jackson County, Ky.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Krysta; and his grandparents.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church as well as from 1 to 3 and 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, when services will commence under the direction of the Rev. Wayne Keith. Following the service, all are invited to the church social hall for continued fellowship.
