Three sections of subdivisions developed by Dominion Homes, consisting of 84 single-family homes, have been approved by the City of Delaware’s Planning Commission.
First was a final subdivision plat (map) for Glenross Golf Club Section 4, consisting of 14 single-family lots on 5.2 acres located on Tipperary Loop.
The staff report stated “this is the last section with 14 lots of the Glenross Golf Club subdivision,” which was approved in 2004 and 2010.
Next was a final development plan and plat for The Communities at Glenross Section 4, consisting of 32 single-family homes on 13 acres located on Eagle Walk Road, Red Stag Road and Caribou Run.
The eastern boundary of the section is a Norfolk Southern Railroad double track.
This development was annexed and zoned in 2006, and has more than 1,100 dwellings on 500 acres. The homes have at least 1,600 square feet in living space.
Finally, there was a final development plan and plat for The Communities of Glenross Section 5, consisting of 38 single-family homes on 22.2 acres on Balmoral Drive, White Fawn Run, Night Bird Lane and Crick Stone Drive. Section 5 “is the next section in the huge (subdivision) that spans both north and south of Cheshire Road.”
Among the conditions are that each of the sections are in the Delaware South New Community Authority.
The commission approved Dominion’s requests by unanimous vote on April 2. They will next go before Delaware City Council on April 14.
