The Delaware Hayes boys lacrosse team picked up another impressive win Wednesday, dropping visiting Pickerington Central 11-6.
The Pacers were propelled by Judson Huston, who finished with a game-high four goals. Other Hayes scorers included MacGregor Roberts, who had a pair of goals in the win, and Joseph Sanfillipo, Clay Sparks, Collin Ward, Cole Livermore and Justin McKee, who finished with one apiece.
Tyler Groth anchored the defense with five saves in the Hayes goal.
•Olentangy posted a strong second half, but couldn’t climb all the way out of an early hole during Wednesday’s 12-8 loss to visiting Dublin Jerome.
The Braves, who were down 4-1 at halftime, scored seven second-half goals to keep things close.
Cliff Kigar led the Olentangy offense with three goals and two assists while Blake Bower finished with two goals and a pair of assists and Zach Potter a goal and two assists.
Cole Palmby finished with 10 saves for the Braves.
•Sam Funston scored a pair of goals, but they weren’t enough as host Wellington rolled to a 9-4 win Wednesday evening.
Carter Marsch and Alex Alley also scored for the Golden Eagles while Joey Schooley and Marsch had assists in the setback.
Derek Herman and Alec Schnabel split time in the Big Walnut net, collecting nine and three saves, respectively.
