Bobby Wolf, 11, and his sister Meg, 9, find a small cardboard cutout of the illustrated children’s book character Waldo from the series “Where’s Waldo?” in Choffey’s Coffee and Confections, 17 W. Winter St. Waldo is hidden in stores throughout downtown Delaware during a month-long hunt. Children use a small “passport” guide to direct them to participating businesses where a 6-inch Waldo is hiding. Youngsters win prizes for locating 10 or more of the inconspicuous red-and-white clad character. Passports are available at Fundamentals Parent Teacher Bookstore, 25 W. Winter St. Participating businesses include Amato’s, Bare Bowl, Barley Hopsters, Breakaway Cycling, Button Up, Central Ohio Symphony, Chelly Belly, Choffey’s, Creative Foundations, the Delaware County District Library, Delaware Diamonds, Endangered Species, Fundamentals, Gibsons, Global Village, Josie Posie Flowers, Liberty Coins, Pure-n-Simple, Second Sole, Sherwin Williams, Strand Theatre, Toujours and Whit’s.
