Delaware County heroes recognized during annual Red Cross event

Abi­gail Sapo­val, who fought off with her bare hands a pit bull that was attack­ing her neigh­bor, received one of eight awards pre­sented at the Amer­i­can Red Cross Delaware County Chapter’s 10th Annual Heroes Break­fast on Wednes­day. Sapo­val was given the Com­mu­nity Impact Hero award dur­ing the event at the Cen­ter for Older Adults, 800 Cheshire Road.
