For those seeking a unique and local Christmas gift this year, how about some farmstead cheese made right here in Delaware County? And maybe a small pecan pie, a cranberry-orange nut bread and some garnish pickles to go with it?

With Christmas quickly approaching, one item that no family can overlook is the Christmas tree. While many have already crossed the annual tree off their to-do list, those still looking can choose from a wide selection of trees at the county’s various tree farms.

Buckeye Valley East Elementary students will present a Christmas program at 2:30 and 7 p.m. today at the school. Third grade students will present songs about snow and snowmen while fourth grade students will present a recorder recital in addition to an arrangement of the “Nutcracker Suite.”
