COLUMBUS, Ohio – Hunters checked 12,712 white-tailed deer during Ohio’s four-day muzzleloader season that concluded on Tuesday, Jan. 9, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife. This total accounts for all deer taken with muzzleloader and archery equipment between Jan. 6-9.

DPHD to oversee MRC activities
The Delaware Public Health District (DPHD) has been granted $247,793 to oversee the coordination of Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) activities in Ohio’s Central region. DPHD was selected as one of eight regional subrecipients by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Bureau of Health Preparedness to strengthen local MRC capacity and response abilities.
