Hayes High School senior Audrey Mungo­van knows for cer­tain that she will major in edu­ca­tion. What she isn’t sure about is if it will be ele­men­tary edu­ca­tion, music edu­ca­tion or as an envi­ron­men­tal teacher.

Lind­sey Adams leads with a quiet strength. The Big Wal­nut High School senior admits to being a lit­tle shy, but that hasn’t stopped her from tak­ing on lead­er­ship roles. She’s pres­i­dent of stu­dent coun­cil, Ger­man Club, Leo Club and pres­i­dent of BW’s senior class.

BV’s Hilt a modern Renaissance man

Buck­eye Val­ley senior Austin Hilt plays foot­ball, skis, is on the cross coun­try and track teams. He plays trom­bone and drums. He knows how to throw a pot on the wheel. He vol­un­teers at Grace Clinic and has worked in con­struc­tion and as a life guard. With his var­ied inter­ests and expe­ri­ences, Austin is going in yet another new direc­tion for his future — med­ical school.

Olentangy’s Root is a novel individual

Every­one has a dream, and Raechel Root is no dif­fer­ent. The Olen­tangy High School senior’s ambi­tion is to attend Colum­bia Uni­ver­sity, live in New York City, work as a copy edi­tor for a pub­lish­ing house and write her own fiction.

Big Walnut’s Meade ready for next step in life

Senior year has gone by fast, con­cedes Big Wal­nut High School senior Ash­ley Meade. “It’s crazy. I remem­ber walk­ing into high school my fresh­man year and was told it would fly by fast. It did,” she said.

Buckeye Valley’s Carr sets goals high

Born and raised in Texas, Demi Carr moved to Delaware in the fifth grade and into Buck­eye Val­ley schools in the eighth grade. The Buck­eye Val­ley senior said her last year at the school is already going by “way too fast.” She said while some­times she is stressed out, she is excited for college.

Hayes' Metzger seeks literary career

For Hayes High School senior Audrey Met­zger, leav­ing high school will be bit­ter­sweet. “It will be nice to be able to leave to go on to spe­cific things. I got a lot from high school, but it will be nice to go to a dif­fer­ent place and do a lot more, see a lot more,” she said.

Delaware Christian’s Tobin open to opportunities

David Tobin has attended Delaware Chris­t­ian School (DCS) since kinder­garten. “I can’t believe senior year is a quar­ter way over already,” he said. “I’m not sure if I’m here more or at home.”
