You may have seen the throngs of students traveling around the downtown area over the past three weeks. First thought is the groups are tours for prospective students of Ohio Wesleyan University. But, no, they are far too young.

The young visitors are actually gifted middle school students from around Central Ohio attending the OWjL (Ohio Wesleyan University and The Junior League of Columbus) summer program at the university. This year, more than 500 attended the program which has been in existence since 1981, and now boasts second generation campers.... Cont'd
