Michelle Wilhelm of Delaware was skeptical when she got a telephone call informing her that she was the grand-prize winner of MobileBrochure’s $11,000 Smoky Mountain vacation.

“I was wondering when he was going to ask for my credit card information or tell me that I had to sit through a long timeshare presentation,” Wilhelm said. “I never really believed that people actually won these giveaways.”

Wilhelm soon discovered that she and her family would soon be getting a free seven-day Smoky Mountain vacation from MobileBrochure that included a large cabin rental, tickets to all of the area’s best attractions, spending money and food.

MobileBrochure (www.MobileBrochure.com) is a new web app that connects restaurants, hotels and attractions to tourists before, during and after a trip.

Wilhelm entered the contest last year after she and her husband, Brent, brought their children to the Smokies for their first visit. While waiting for the tram in Gatlinburg, Wilhelm snapped a photo of a sign advertising MobileBrochure’s Smoky Mountain vacation giveaway. By the time she got home to Delaware, she forgot about the photo.

“When I was going through pictures of our vacation, I saw the photograph of the contest ad and I went ahead and entered,” Wilhelm said. “I only entered once, so I never dreamed I would win.”

The Wilhelm family will begin their free Smoky Mountain vacation later this month. All three of their children, Kristi, Lauren and Nate, will be traveling with them.
