State troopers said three people were transported to Grant Medical Center after a four-vehicle crash happened Thursday morning on U.S. 23 South at Coover Road. Around 8 a.m. a silver Honda Pilot in the fast lane failed to stop in time at the red light and rear-ended a Hyundai, which in turn collided with a Mazda, that was then pushed into a Toyota, troopers said. The driver of the Hyundai was flown to Grant Medical Center via helicopter and two other involved parties were taken to Grant via ambulance. Troopers said the injuries were not life-threatening.
