Students named to Grove City dean’s list

Several Delaware-area students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester at Grove City (Pennsylvania) College.

They include:

• Olivia Ebert, a sophomore business management major, who was named to the dean’s list with distinction. Olivia is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Ebert (Jennifer) from Delaware.

• Rachel Beidelman, a freshman accounting major, who is a 2015 graduate of Olentangy High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Beidelman (Jennifer) from Lewis Center.

• Nathaniel Weiland, a senior exercise science major, who was named to the dean’s list with distinction. Nathaniel is a 2012 graduate of Veritas Academy and is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Jeffery Weiland (Vicki) from Ostrander.

• Brent Veerman, a senior biochemistry major, who is a 2012 graduate of Veritas Academy and is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Cynthia Veerman (Cynthia) from Powell.

• Megan Walters, a senior biology major, was named to the dean’s list with distinction. Megan is a 2012 graduate of Big Walnut High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Walters (Marcia) from Sunbury.

• Wei-En Lu, a freshman mathematics major, who was named to the dean’s list with distinction. Wei-En is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Chao-Wen Lu (Ching-Shiang) from Westerville.

• Trent Strick, a freshman mechanical engineering major at Grove City College, who is a 2015 graduate of Worthington Christian High School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Strick Jr. (Carol) from Westerville.

• Ben Dumm, a sophomore biochemistry major at Grove City College, who was named to the dean’s list with distinction. Ben is a 2014 graduate of St. Francis De Sales High School and is the son of Dr. Timothy Dumm from Westerville.

Students eligible for the dean’s list have a grade-point average of 3.40 to 3.59. For the dean’s list with distinction, a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 is required.
