Delaware firefighters responded to the city’s industrial park Tuesday afternoon to rescue a man who fell in a manhole while doing work on a sanitary sewer system being extended in the area, according to city spokesman Lee Yoakum.

The worker lost consciousness before the fall. He was administered oxygen by firefighters before he was transported to a Columbus hospital by medical helicopter.
