Delaware police report:

A woman told police her mother attacked her at an apartment on Vernon Avenue Friday around 5:45 a.m. The woman said she had locked herself in the bathroom to get away from her mother. Police arrived and made contact with the mother. Police report the mother appeared intoxicated. The daughter told police her mother came into her room, choked her and restrained her. The mother continued to be disorderly while officers were on scene and continued to make threats against her daughter. The mother was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence, assault and disorderly conduct.

A man was arrested after he was found in a condemned building on East Winter Street Thursday night. Police report the man had been advised in writing not to be on the property. The man was given a summons to appear in Delaware Municipal Court for trespassing.

A motorist flagged down a police officer on Liberty Road Thursday night. The driver told police they had just received a suicidal text from a friend. Police responded and transported the 17-year-old friend to Grady Memorial Hospital for a mental health evaluation.

An energy drink was stolen from a business on London Road Thursday morning. The case is inactive at this time.
