Recreation Unlimited’s 2016 Safety Day will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until noon.

Recreation Unlimited is a special place that provides year-round programs for adults and children with physical and cognitive disabilities and health issues. Many of our partner agencies participate each year to provide safety and preparedness information to the campers and staff.

First response vehicles and helicopters are also on-hand to encourage the campers to interact with the various equipment that may come to their home in an emergency. During this event, responders have a chance to tour the camp facilities and become acquainted with the layout of the facility. Approximately 100 – 120 of their campers participate each year at Safety Day.
