Delaware police report:

Prescription pills and drug paraphernalia were found in a vehicle during a traffic stop on South Sandusky Street near Belle Avenue Wednesday just before 12:30 a.m. Police pulled the vehicle over for a traffic violation and found the illegal items during the stop. The passenger in the vehicle was issued a summons to appear in court for the charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The owner of a garage/shop on East Winter Street told police that someone entered the building overnight Tuesday. The owner reportedly noticed tools missing and hidden outside behind a dumpster. Police report it is unclear if any other items were taken or exactly how someone entered the building. An investigation is ongoing.

Police investigated an intoxicated man with an open container in the area of East Winter Street and Little Street Wednesday night. Officers began to check the area and located the man crouched behind a trailer. Officers made contact and discovered the man was too intoxicated to care for himself and was currently on probation. Officers contacted his probation officer and he was transported to the Delaware County Jail for violating his probation.
