Delaware police report:

Merchandise was stolen from the Turkey Hill gas station Thursday at about 2:45 a.m. Police located a 33-year-old man in the area moments later with the stolen items. The man was arrested and charged with theft.

A man was arrested for trying to enter vehicles in the area of Baywood Drive and Deerfield Place Thursday at about 5 a.m. Police were notified that a man was walking down the street, trying to open car doors in order to take items. Police arrested him and charged him with vehicle trespass, prohibition, menacing, open container and theft.

A fight at Dempsey Middle School was reported by a concerned parent Thursday afternoon. The parent told police the fight happened on the last day of school last month. Police are investigating.

The Plexiglass sign cover in front of Woodward Elementary School was found broken Thursday afternoon. Police say the crime occurred in the past two days and are investigating.

A fight at the United Dairy Farmers store occurred Friday morning just after midnight. Two customers were involved in a dispute but neither man wanted to press charges.

A car was egged in the Kroger parking lot on Columbus Pike Friday morning.
