Delaware police report:

Police responded to a domestic violence situation Sunday just after 3 a.m. at a home on Blymer Street. Police were told two adult women had been fighting but by the time they arrived the women were separated and calm.Police learned the women were mother and daughter and both women told police the other had assaulted them. Neither woman had any visible signs of injury and a report was taken to document the incident. The report was forwarded to the Delaware City Prosecutor for review and potential charges.

Officers responded with medics to the report that a two-year-old had ingested pills at a home on Ferguson Avenue. Police report the girl was not in any apparent distress but was transported to a children’s hospital as a precaution. Ultimately, it was unclear if the girl had ingested any of the medicine but police believe if she had eaten any, it was by accident. A report was forward to Delaware County Job and Family Services for review.

A stolen vehicle was discovered in the area of Birch Row Drive and Winter Pine Drive Monday just before 5 a.m. Police found the car park off the road and ran the license plate, which stated the car had been stolen from Columbus. The vehicle was recovered and turned over to Columbus Police.
