‘Witches Night Out!’ Thursday at Leeds Farm

Leeds Farm will again host “Witches Night Out!,” a ladies-only event to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Initiatives.

It will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1.

Participants are encouraged to wear witch costumes, hats or other “bewitching attires,” organizers say.

“I am living proof that research saves lives,” said Christy Leeds, owner of Leeds Farm. “I’m personally thankful to be able to do my part to support breast cancer research and treatment, and give women a special night out with their friends.”

Activities at the farm will include the “pumpkin jump,” zip lines, pedal carts, rolling tubes, a combine slide, mountain slides and hayrides. Johnny and the Revelators will provide classic rock music. A Catered Event, a partner in the event, will provide food and beverages.

All tickets sales will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Tickets can be purchased at Richwood Bank branch offices in Delaware, Marysville and Richwood, as well as on the event website www.LeedsFarm.com/WitchesNightOut.

For more information, contact event coordinator Sherry Fisher at 740-225-3256 or [email protected].

The rain date for the event is Thursday, Oct. 8.

The farm is located at 8738 State Route 36, Ostrander.

Other event sponsors include Richwood Bank, Honda Marysville, Performance Delaware, Great Photo Booth, Alice’s Piece of Cake and Geotechnical Consultants Inc.
