ODOT updates road projects in county

The following work is planned in the Delaware County area on the specified dates and times. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or canceled without prior notice, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

On Tuesday, State Route 750 will be reduced to one lane of two-way traffic between SR 315 and US 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement repairs. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.

Other ongoing projects include:

  • U.S. Route 23 – US 23 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between SR 315 and Hawthorn Blvd. from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for traffic signal installation. Completion: Sept. 1.
  • State Route 750 and Sawmill Parkway, beginning nightly at 7 p.m., the contractor will be paving the final surface course for all lanes of State Route 750 between the Zoo and Sawmill Parkway. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained, but drivers should expect delays.
  • Final paving will also occur nightly at the SR 750 and Sawmill Parkway intersection. The paving work will stop by 6 a.m. Completion: Saturday.
  • State Route 521 – The bridge over I-71 is closed for replacement. The detour is SR 521 to SR 61 to US 36 to SR 521. Completion: Nov. 1.
