Delaware police report:

A woman came to the lobby of the police department Tuesday to report that a man she lived with had assaulter her the night before. She told police the incident occurred at her home on Muirwood Village and said the man threatened to assault her again if she did not drop the charges from a prior domestic violence situation on Aug. 23. Police obtained the necessary information and began an investigation. Later in the day, the man turned himself in. He denied any knowledge of the alleged Monday incident.

Officers were summoned to a residence on Rivercrest Drive Tuesday afternoon on the report of a burglary. The victim told police that the door to her apartment had been forced open. She said a television was missing and added that she believed she knew who committed the offense. She said she contacted the man over the phone, where he acknowledged the incident. However, the woman declined to press charges against the man and requested that officers locate the man and ask he not return. The man was given a written warning about trespassing.
