From the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office: “Confirmed sighting of Michael E. Wilson around 6 a.m. on U.S. 23 at Main Road, a rural area in Delaware County. Perimeter is set. Multiple units on scene, including OSP helicopter, K-9s. A Code Red/reverse 9-1-1 call was placed to homes in a 1/4-mile radius. Buckeye Valley middle & high schools are on lockdown; Buckeye Valley elementary schools are on a one-hour delay. All Delaware City Schools are on a perimeter lockdown.”

Wilson is a 16-year-old escapee from a Marion County juvenile detention center, with a reported history of armed robbery and felonious assault.
