Delaware police report:

Police were dispatched to a home on Durham Lane Tuesday just before 1:40 a.m. after the resident reported a suspicious individual nearby. Police arrived and found a 26-year-old homeless man in the area in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. The man was arrested and charged with possession.

An officer encountered a vehicle parked in the parking lot at United Dairy Farmers Tuesday evening that smelled like marijuana. Police found the driver in possession of marijuana and cited him.

A 31-year-old woman reported that she was assaulted in a parking lot of an apartment complex Wednesday around 1 a.m. When police arrived, the woman said she knew who the assailant was but then became uncooperative with police. A report was taken to document the incident, but no charges were filed.
