Ohio Wesleyan University’s Campus Programming Board will host the fourth annual “A Cappellooza” voices-only showcase at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 in Gray Chapel in University Hall, 61 S. Sandusky St., Delaware.

The concert will feature movie theme songs performed by student a cappella groups from Ohio Wesleyan, Kenyon College, Wittenberg University, the University of Akron, and more.

The event also will feature an appearance by the Grammy-nominated a cappella group Committed, winners of the second season of NBC’s “The Sing-Off.” The five-man group was created in 2003 and solidified its sound while attending Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama. Learn more about Committed and hear at www.committedsings.com.

OWU’s own Eric Gnezda will serve as A Cappellooza’s master of ceremonies. In addition to teaching public speaking at Ohio Wesleyan, Gnezda is an accomplished singer, award-winning songwriter, and host of American Public Television’s nationally distributed series “Songs at the Center.” Learn more about Gnezda at http://gnezda.com.

Tickets to A Cappellooza may be purchased at the door. The cost is $5 for general admission and $2 for children 12 and under, non-OWU students with valid student IDs, and senior citizens. Admission is free for OWU students and employees with valid university IDs.

Those who buy 10 tickets or more will receive a 50 percent discount. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
